11/12/23 - ICE Cares marks 11th annual Care Package event held at McHenry VFW
Northern ICE 11 hosted our annual event, with players from across our organization coming out to VFW Post 4600 in McHenry to support of our annual event. This year, we shipped 54 care packages to troops deployed in Kuwait and Iraq, which also included several soldiers from right here in Illinois! As always, a huge THANK YOU to our players, families, and our continued partnership with the McHenry VFW for making this such a success!
11/11/23 - Northern ICE 11 Takes 1st Place at the USSSA Bracket Buster 5
Congratulations to Northern ICE 11 going 3-0-1 to take home the championship in Iowa! The team outscored their opponents 22-3.
10/28/22 - Northern ICE 11 hosts Halloween Round Robin benefitting This Able Veteran
Thanks to all of our teams and families, we were able to work around some weather and support a full schedule for all 20 teams this year! Thanks to all the teams who participated, as well as all of the volunteers from Northern ICE 11, we raised $3,000 for This Able Veteran, an Illinois-based non-profit that provides service dogs and training to veterans with PTSD and other challenges. Families from our team all pitched in to make our Spring Round Robin a huge success. With 21 teams participating from 10U-14U, we thank all the teams who participated, as well as all of our families who worked to make this a successful event. In total, we raised over $2,000 for Misericordia, a Chicago-based non-profit that provides services to individuals with developmental and physical challenges. This year’s Halloween Round Robin was our biggest yet! With 22 teams participating across all ages from 12U-18U, our families stepped up to support our final outdoor games of 2022.
